Day 4: Hello from Wisconsin!! Today was an eventful day! It started out with us getting told that we would be going to Oshkosh, as we traveled on the curvy, winding interstate we began to see signs that hinted that Oshkosh was the other way and we were actually on the road to GREEN BAY, home of “Lambeau Field and the Green Bay Packers.” Everyone except for Emily knew that we were going there instead of Oshkosh. As we pulled on to Lambeau Ave. the Field came into sight. We stopped, took pictures, and touched the stadium door! After much excitement we were back in the cars and off to the wrong way, again. We circled around Green Bay and after sight seeing much of the town, traveling an extra 21 miles we found where we were supposed to be. (We saw Lambeau Field again…2 blocks away from the work site.) Upon arriving we met the man in charge, Ron, he was cool beans. He first had us move boxes. Then after having a quick break, so Ron can find us something to do. And he did, pulling weeds along the busy scorching hot highway. Ron was feeling generous so he made us some mean popcorn and treated us to some freezees. Today was another DYNOMITE day and we are looking forward tomorrow. ~Bentow and Graff… out! |
